If you’re looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit, Summit Health Cares is here to help. Broadway Rocks Cancer returns to SOPAC in South Orange, NJ, on Wednesday, December 17 at 7PM, bringing Broadway’s biggest voices to the stage for an unforgettable evening of music, hope, and giving back.
Hosted by Christopher J. Hanke (Cry-Baby, Rent), the concert features an exciting lineup of Broadway performers including Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots), Keven Quillon (My Fair Lady), John Riddle (Frozen, Phantom of the Opera), Elizabeth Stanley (Jagged Little Pill), Dennis Stowe (Aladdin), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot), Charlotte Mary Wen (Hamilton), and more — accompanied by a live four-piece band.
Since 2017, Summit Health Cares has hosted Broadway’s brightest stars to ensure that patients facing cancer have access to emotional, physical, and spiritual support throughout treatment.
Funds raised from Broadway Rocks Cancer will benefit Summit Health Cares’ Cancer Comfort Project, which provides one-on-one patient navigation, mind-body wellness programs, and patient-in-need grants, all designed to ease stress and improve quality of life for those in treatment.
“Working with Summit Health Cares on this event is one of the highlights of my year,” shared Christopher J. Hanke. “It’s an incredible feeling to use our voices to give back and make a difference in the lives of patients and families.”
