This September, golfers gathered on the legendary greens Hamilton Farm Golf Club to support Summit Health Cares at our Annual Golf Invitational. Participants enjoyed the crisp autumn weather and 27 holes of golf, including nine on the Hickory Course, the only USGA-rated par 3 course in the United States, and 18 on the traditional Highlands Course.
This event gets better and better each year,” shared Joe Finocchiaro, Summit Health Cares’ Executive Director. “We’re grateful to have so many community members out on the fairway, all having a great time while making it possible for SHC to continue programs that positively impact the underserved.”
The golfers enjoyed a full day of spirited competition, camaraderie, and purpose, all for a good cause. Proceeds from the event will help Summit Health Cares continue its mission of supporting individuals and families in underserved communities across New York, New Jersey, and Oregon. Through events like this, SHC can provide free wellness screenings and health education, scholarships for future healthcare professionals, and personalized resources for patients and families affected by cancer.
