Knitted Knockers

Lenore recently donated 55 pairs of Knitted Knockers to Summit Medical Group Foundation’s Comfort Cart to help breast cancer survivors feel more like themselves. Knitted Knockers are bra inserts made with love by volunteer knitters for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. While traditional breast prosthesis can be expensive, heavy, sweaty and uncomfortable, Knitted Knockers are soft, comfortable, beautiful and preferred by many women.
